Calecim Professional stem cells are ethically and harmlessly harvested from the umbilical cord lining membrane of Red Deer in New Zealand (free range grazing and non-endangered species). Following the birth of a fawn, the umbilical cord is deemed as medical waste with on further use after birth. Collected and the stem cells extracted to be grown within the Calecim Professional science lab.

WHAT IS A STEM CELL?
Stem cells are the body’s raw materials that has a potential to provide new cells for the body as it grows, and replace specialised cells that are damaged or lost. They have unique ability it divide over and over again to produce new cells and change into the other types of cell that make up the body.

There are different types of stem cells, of which two are found in the umbilical cord lining:

Multi-Action Cream is designed for patients who are looking for a powerful anti-aging corrective treatment. It targets significant signs of aging such as skin laxity, deep wrinkles and folds, and loss of skin density.
Restorative Hydration Cream is for all skin types that will benefit from deep hydration. It restores radiance to dehydrated skins, smoothing out fine line and shadows.
These two products can be used together. With the Multi-Action Cream being applied before the Restorative Hydration Cream.

The Multi-Action Cream is fragrance-free. The smell comes from the high concentration of active ingredient, mainly Cord Lining extract, in the formulation. The smell disappears soon after application and most users don’t notice it after a few minutes.

The extract derived from each batch of Cord Lining is slightly different. This results in slight differences in colour and smell in the end product because of the high concentration of active ingredient used.

It depends on how ablative your procedure was. All creams / serums should only be applied to skin that has fully epithelized.

When used as a daily moisturizer or corrective treatment, Multi-Action Cream supplies the skin nutrients that aids and boosts the restoration of your skin’s renewal cycle back to 28 days. This process is known as the skin-cycle reset and may take two to four weeks for results to take effect. Optimal results can usually be observed after 90 days.

While the occasional pimple may be considered to be part of the natural process of skin renewal, you should avoid the use any CALECIM® Professional skincare if you have active acne. We will be able to ascertain whether you are a suitable candidate for the product or recommend another product that is suitable acne.

It depends on your skin type. If your skin is Oily / Normal / Combination, you may find the Multi-Action Cream sufficiently emollient for your skin. If your skin is very dry, you may want to apply a separate moisturizer above, or pair it with the Restorative Hydration Cream.

Yes, CALECIM® Professional products are safe for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. However, we highly recommend that you consult your obstetrician/gynaecologist before starting any new skincare routine.

CALECIM® Professional works well with most active ingredients commonly used in other skincare. Your skincare should be layered according to the viscosity of the product. Water-based products should be applied first (like toners, and watery serums), followed by gel-like textures. Light creams can be applied after, followed by heavier creams. For AM regimens, sunblock should be applied last.
